Mr. Murray William Proctor was born in Millbrook on January 18, 1924, he was the son of the late William H. and Martha (McFarlane) Proctor and was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Mallory) Proctor who passed away in 2001. Murray was a former employee of Wallace Manufacturing, John Kennedy Refrigeration and a former caretaker for Mitchell Franklin in Baines Corner. Murray will live on in the hearts of his daughter, Eileen McShane and her husband Earl of Parleeville, NB; his son, Cecil and his wife Wendy of Ontario; his brother, Nelson Proctor and his wife Leigh of Ontario; his sisters: Viola Gall of Saskatchewan and Alice Mitton of Sussex Corner his son-in-law, Ken of Oakfield, NS; his brother-in-law, Ora of Sussex; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Murray was predeceased by his brothers: Russell and Phillip, his daughter Viola Purcell, his son, Harris; his sister, Clara Buchanan and his brother-in-law, Earl Mitton. Mr. Murray William Proctor of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on September 1, 2011 at the age of 87. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A Celebration of Murray's life will be held from Trinity Cemetery on Monday, September 5, 2011 at 11:00 am. Donations made to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
