Joyce Price was born in Portslade by Sea on October 29, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Daisy (Patching) Turner and was the wife of the late Wilfred Price. Joyce was a member of the War Brides Association. She married Wilfred on January 10, 1944 in St. Margarets Church in Ditchling, England and came to Canada in April 1946. Mrs. Joyce Daisy Price of Sussex, NB, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, on April 11, 2000 at the age of 83. Joyce will be remembered by her daughter; Jean Price of Sussex; two sons; Raymond of Saint John, Howard and his wife Flora of Sussex; six grandchildren; Ann, Heather, Becky, Amanda, Paul and Allan; a great grandson; Shawn; and also by several nieces and nephews; a half sister; Barbara Jean Saunders and her husband Charles of England; a sister-in-law; Dorothy Turner of England. Joyce was predeceased by a brother Charles J. Turner. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Wednesday 7-9 pm and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A service celebrating Joyce Daisy's life will be held from Trinity Anglican Church on Friday, April 14, 2000 at 11:00 am.
