Mr. Glendon Ernest Long of Apohaqui, passed away at the Sussex Health Center on April 9, 2000 at the age of 72. Born in Riverbank on January 26, 1928, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Parks) (Pollock) Long and was the husband of the late Constance Long. Glendon will be remembered by his wife; his three daughters; Linda and her husband Chris McKiel of Westfield, Brenda Long of Saint John, and Jane Long at home, his two sons; Greg of Hamilton, Ont., and Dennis of Bloomfield; grandchildren; Aaron, Tracy, & Erin Ashley, and great grandchildren; Kevin and Stephanie, as well as several nieces and nephews. Glendon was predeceased by his brother; Norman Long, and his sister Pearl Bustin.. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A service celebrating Glendon Ernest's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 12, 2000 at 11:00 am.
