Obituary of Howard Craswell
Howard Craswell was born in Mann's Mountain on March 10, 1907, he was the son of the late Albert and Martha (MacMillan) Craswell.
Howard graduated in 1924 from Hemphill Trade School, Toronto as a mechanic; he worked at W.R. MacMillan's Store in Jacquet River from 1928 until he retired in 1995 at age 87. He was a member of the Bethel United Church at Nash Creek, NB.
Mr. Howard Sterling Craswell of Sussex, NB, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on March 7, 2000 at the age of 92. Howard Sterling will be remembered by a sister; Margaret Best of Stanley, New Brunswick; and also by several nieces and nephews; special friends; Max and Janet Lutz, Valerie Lloyd of Sussex, Rayburn Doucett of Jacquet River and Debbie Doucett of Bridgetown, NS, and all their families.
Howard was predeceased by four brothers; Hardy, Beverly, Dawson and Preston.
A service celebrating Howard Sterling's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Friday, March 10, 2000 at 2:30 pm. The interment will take place at Hillcrest United Church Cemetery.
