Irene Fenton was born in Millstream on July 24, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Jessie (Northrup) Murphy and was the wife of the late Peter Fenton. Irene Fenton of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, on January 26, 2000 at the age of 85. Irene will be remembered by her six daughters; Pauline Campbell of Montreal, PQ, Elizabeth Coleman of Sussex Corner, Mary Radford and her husband Hank of California, Agatha O'Shea and her husband Michael of Boston, Mass., Evelyn Davis and her husband Arnold of Lower Sackville, NS, Paula Cormier and her husband Euclid of Grand Bend, Ontario; her son; Lawrence Fenton and his wife Marie of Millstream, a brother; George Murphy and his wife Verna of Sussex; a sister; Phyllis Green of Apohaqui; 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by three brothers; Hawlie, Preston, and Fred and by a Sister Eunice. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A service celebrating Irene's life will be held from St. Francis Xavier on Friday, January 28, 2000 at 10:00 am. The interment will take place at St. Phillips RC Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
