Obituary of Muriel Dunham
Mrs. Muriel Pearl Dunham was born in Cumberland Point on October 4, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Greta (Fairweather) Clark and was the wife of the late Floyd Dunham who passed away in 1982.
She was a member of the First Grand Lake Baptist Church, the Social Connection Club and treasurer for 29 years for the First Grand Lake Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, singing in the church choir, reading and Skipbo.
Muriel is survived by her sons: Gary and his wife Linda of Sackville and Allen and his wife Amy of Cumberland Bay; her sisters, Helen Rees and her husband Winston of Cumberland Bay and Hilda Watson of Saint John; six brothers: Ernest Clark of Millcove, Lloyd Clark and his wife Isabelle of Cumberland Bay, Orland Clark and his wife Betty of Cumberland Bay, Glendon Clark and his wife Vivian of Cumberland Bay, Dale Clark of Saint John and Arnold Clark and his wife Sheila of Cumberland Bay; five grandchildren: Gregory Dunham and his wife Anna and Jeffrey Dunham and his wife Amber, Twilah Ferris and her husband Carter, Shelly Barton and her husband Eldon and Janet Reece and her husband Lawrence; 10 great grandchildren: Randy Dunham, Matthew Whalen, Bradley Dunham, Kyle Whalen, Mitchell Reece, Zack Ferris, Kaiden Dunham, Dolan Dunham, Carly Reece and Morgan Dunham; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Edward Clark
Mrs. Muriel Pearl Dunham of Cumberland Bay, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmer's Hospital on August 3, 2011 at the age of 87.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Thursday from 1-3 and 6-8pm.
A Celebration of Muriel's life will be held from First Grand Lake Baptist Church, Cumberland Point on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11:00am. The Private Family Interment will take place at Cumberland Point Community Cemetery.
