Harry Hawthorne was born in Dorchester on April 22, 1938, he was the son of the late Andrew and Dorothy Holmes and was the husband of the late Sandra (Pevey) Hawthorne. Mr. Harry David Hawthorne of Springdale,NB, passed away in Penobsquis, NB on September 8, 1999 at the age of 61. Harry will be remembered by his three sons; Leslie and his wife Sheila of Penobsquis, Eugene and Harry Jr. of Calgary; four brothers; Herman and his wife Rena of Penbsquis, Robert and his wife Linda of Picadilly, Dean and his wife Dale of Sussex, George and his wife Beverly of Sussex; three sisters; Ivy Allen of Penobsquis, Betty Mallery and her husband Walter of Springdale, NB, Louise Stanwix and her husband Paul of Sussex; five grandchildren; Emily, Luke, Michelle, Cortland, and Chelsea; also by several neices and nephews. Harry was predeceased by his son; Bradley Allen. . The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Thursday 7-9 pm . A service celebrating Harry David's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Friday, September 10, 1999 at 11:00 am.
