Helena Johnson was born in North Forks on July 23, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Harriett (Cullen) Biddiscombe and was the wife of the late Burton Johnson. Mrs Helena Harriette Johnson of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, on August 27, 1999 at the age of 92. Helena will be remembered by her daughers; Marie, and husband Holly Knight of Saint John; Robert and Husband Murray Woods of Gagetown; Blanche and Husband Tim Martin of Fredericton; Pauline and husbamd Merritt Corbertt of Apohaqui; Doris McRae of Saint John; Marianne and husband Rupert Merritt of Welsford, NB; Kathryn and husband David King of Fredericton; sons; Jack Johnson of Fredericton, Ken Johnson of Sussex; sister; Jane Briggs of Gagetown; 41 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and also by several nieces and nephews. .The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm . A service celebrating Helena's life will be held from St. John's Anglican Church on Sunday, August 29, 1999 at 2:00 pm.
