Roy Douthwright was born in Saint John on February 12, 1909, he was the husband of Elizabeth (Carhart) Douthwright. Roy was a member of the Apohaqui Seniors. Mr. Roy Douthwright of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on August 23, 1999 at the age of 90. Roy will be remembered by his daughter; Joan Powell and her husband Carl of Mount Middleton, three sons, Tom Douthwright of Mount Hebron, Joe Doyle and his wife Anne of Mount Middleton, Ralph Douthwright and his wife Evelyn of Apohaqui. several Grandchildren, great grandchildren, and also by several nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his son; Spargo Dalton. A service celebrating Roy's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, August 25, 1999 at 2:00 pm.
