Obituary of Everett McFarlane

Everett McFarlane was born in Markhamville on June 17, 1920, he was the son of the late and Berdella "Della" (McFarlane) Folkins and was the husband of Ida Maud (Chase) McFarlane.

Everett was a past member of the Kings County Historical Society, and the Old Time Fiddlers Assoc.

Mr. Everett Murray McFarlane of Jeffries Corner, passed away at his Residence on August 18, 1999 at the age of 79.

Along with his wife, Everett is survived by his daughters; Phyllis and her husband Nelson Dahl of Kitchener, Ont., and Donna McFarlane and her husband Steven Glendenning of Dipper Harbour, NB, his son; Daryl McFarlane and his wife Joan of Hampton, his brother Buddy and his wife Phyllis Folkins of Sussex Corner, his sisters; Bertha and her husband Walter Harrington of Saint John, and Rowena and her husband Austin Hayes of Alberta, his sister-in-law; Joan Folkins of Hammondvale, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Everett was predeceased by his brother Ronnie Folkins.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).

The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176).

 

 

A service celebrating Everett Murray's life will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 20, 1999 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery.
