Palmer Brown was born in Penobsquis on July 18, 1926, he was the son of the late Edgar and Mary (Murray) Brown and is the husband of Marion (Hunt) Brown. Palmer was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 20. He was also a member of the Kings County Historical Society. He was a former member and a Director of the New Brunswick Waterwell Association. Mr. Palmer Allison Brown of Penobsquis, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on July 22, 1999 at the age of 73. Palmer will be remembered by his son; James of Vancouver, B.C.; brother; John (Jack) Vincent, of Penobsquis; two sisters; Grace Dunfield and Marina and Bill Kyte all of Penobsquis; two aunts; Bessie Murray of Sussex, Helen Russell of Toronto; also by several nieces and nephews. . A service celebrating Palmer's life will be held from Penobsquis United Baptist on Sunday, July 25, 1999 at 2:00 pm. The interment will take place at Cardwell Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
