J. Sandle Payne was born in Sandy Point Road, on August 31, 1903, he was the son of the late John and Bessie Ann (O'Dell) Payne. J. Sandle liked to go hunting and fishing. Mr. J. Sandle Payne of Berwick, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on March 30, 1999 at the age of 95. J. Sandle will be remembered by a sister-in-law, Doris Payne of Hillsdale; four nephews; Jim, Frank and Edward Payne and Doug Allaby; eight nieces; Shirley Teakles, Valarie Goddard, Judy McLaughlin, Dorothy Seeley, Leona MacDonald, Florence Tingley, Frances Armstrong and Carmen Meehan, and their families and also by several cousins. J. Sandle was predeceased by a brother; John, four sisters; Dolly Allaby, Mary O'Connor, Stella Teakles and Myrtle Daye. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm. A service celebrating J. Sandle's life will be held from St. Francis Xavier Church on Thursday, April 1, 1999 at 9:00 am. The interment will take place at Saddleback Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
