Dorothy Leach was born in Sussex on June 19, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Otty and Edna (Colpitts) Smith. Dorothy is survived by her sister-in-law: Wilma Smith of Dutch Valley as well as several nephews and a niece. Dorothy has always been a very special lady; she had no children of her own; however she always showed an interest in her nieces and nephews and she and Uncle Lloydie were like second parents to many. We have fond memories of their many expressions of love and kindness. Dorothy was a gentle mannered person. She loved to sing and loved music. Sports was also a favorite activity of hers, participating in bowling and attending hockey games with my Viola. She will always be loved and remembered fondly by her family. Mrs. Dorothy Louise Leach of Sussex passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on August 7, 2013 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her first husband Lloyd Leach an by her second husband Vernon Leach; her brothers, Frank, Ralph, Donald and Everett Smith, her sisters Viola Buchanan and Ida Brooks. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A Graveside Service celebrating Dorothy's life will be held at Kirk Hill Cemetery on Saturday August 17,2013 at. 2:00pm.
