Obituary of Myrtle Beatrice Church

Myrtle was born in Riverglade on April 27, 1924; she was the daughter of the late Hillard and Margaret (Coates) Branscombe and the wife of the late William Edward Church, who passed away in 1992. Myrtle began her married life as a farmer's wife. Along side her husband they worked their farm in Anagance Ridge and raised their two girls. Later she was an employee of Friars Restaurant, Dr. Stewart's office but still had the time to bake the donuts she will be fondly remembered for. Myrtle will continue to live on in the hearts of her daughters: Doris Charamis of Grimsby, Ontario and Julie Stackhouse and her husband Ronald of Hampton; three brothers: Everett Branscombe and his wife Grace of Cornhill, Earl Branscombe of Moncton, and Ivan Branscombe and his wife Debbie of Cornhill, six sisters: Evelyn Colpitts andher husband Gordon of Salisbury, Pauline Murray of Port Elgin, Luetta Smith and her husband Gerry of Riverview, Grace Branscombe of Garnet Settlement, Margaret Vantil of Barrie, Ontario, Lottie Forsythe and her husband Arnold of Cornhill,grandchildren: Peter Charamis and his wife Astra of Athens, Greece, James Stackhouse and his wife Jennifer of Fredericton, Jennifer Vienneau and her husband Jamie of Saint John; great grandchildren:Dena Charamis, Matthew Stackhouse, Ryan Vienneau, Claire Vienneau, Peter Vienneau and Jillian Vienneau as well as several nieces and nephews; Myrtle was predeceased by an infant daughter Shirley, two sisters: Florence Branscombe, Gladys Church, her brother Arnold and a great grandson William James Vienneau. Mrs. Myrtle Beatrice (Branscombe) Church of Sussex passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on September 5, 2013 at the age of 89. The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Friday, September 6th, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A service celebrating Myrtle's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, September 7th, 2013 at 11:00am, followed by a time of fellowship with the family. The interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery.
