Ralph was born in Bougainville, Quebec on July 2, 1925 and was the son of the late Edgar and Elsie (Johnson) Doody. Ralph a woodsman who enjoyed playing the fiddle, banjo, mandolin, dobro and the accordion. He loved family gatherings especially the Christmas parties spent with the entire family. Ralph and his wife, Roma, enjoyed 69 wonderful and cherished years together. Ralph's family meant the world to him; he will be great missed by his: daughter Dianna and Serge Bernier and their children: Rhonda Bernier, Marcel Bernier (sons Brandon Lee and Cody) and Lisa Bernier; (Late son Donald) and wife Verna Doody and their children: Angela Mitton (daughter Rebecca), Cheryl Doody (Mark Scott) (daughter Mia and son Thomas), tanya Doody (Jackson TwoBears) (daughter River) and Terrence Doody;Daughter Sylvia and Clifford Lucas and their children: Shawn Lucas (Lorraine) (daughter Hayley and son Colton), Tyson Lucas (Chris) (daughter Tylyn, sons Grayson and Levi), Trevis Lucas (Nicole) (sons Eric, Tyler, Brett and daughters Laura and Anna), Miranda Lucas (Ryan Fox) (sons Keegan, Conner and Kalum; Daughter Elsie and Augustine Rehel and their children: Steve Rehel (Marie-Eve) (daughters Jade and Maya), Celine Rehel (Pascal Poulin) (sons Anthony and Dominick) and Stephanie Rehel (Pascal Turegon) (daughter Mia); Daughter Susan McKoy (Late husband Donald) and their children: Melissa McKoy (Corey Thistle) (Son Cody), Roxanne McKoy (Dan) (daughters Alyisha and Paige and Priscilla McKoy (Greg) (daughter Madison and son Easton); Daughter Doris and Travis Mitton and their children: Travis Mitton (Julia) (sons Jules and Cash) and Melanie Mitton (Justin Dawson) (sons Kai and Kaylan); Daughter Eunice and Richard Mitton and their children: Jodie Mitton (Jan) (son Reese and daughters Willow and Lola and Roma Myers (Anthony) (son Chase); Son Fred and Peggy Doody and their children: Jeremy Doody (Kirsten) (daughter Avery), Shari Neil (Mike) (daughters Peyton and Sami) and Luke Doody; Son Frank and Angela Doody and their children Jessica Doody, Alison Doody and Mathew Doody; Son Ralph and Patti Doody and their children: Carter Doody and Brody Doody; Daughter Lori and Brent Crealock and their son Colin Crealock. Mr. Ralph Percieval Doody of Portagevale, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on September 6, 2013 at the age of 88. He is predeceased by his sons, Roderick and Donald, his daughter Vina and by his brother Vincent. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex (506-433-1176). In honour of Ralph's wishes, no visitation will take place. A graveside service celebrating Ralph's life will be held at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner, on September 11, 2013 at 11:00am. There will be a gathering at Lori and Brent's house at 17 Back Road immediately following the graveside service on Wednesday.
