Obituary of Margaret Pearl Tribe
Pearl was born in Apohaqui on July 24, 1928 and was the daughter of Kenneth and Margaret (Tait) Kyle.
Pearl attended Sussex High School and then went on to work as a telephone operator in Sussex for NBTel. Pearl's number one priority was her family and for many years she stayed at home to take care of her children. Eventually, she went back to work and retired from Black's Fashions.
Pearl took great pride in her home; it was always spotless. She was a wonderful cook and loved to host her family and friends. Pearl had many friends throughout her life and they were of all ages. She enjoyed the many visitors she received. When you went to visit with Pearl, you could count on the teapot always being on. Pearl loved antiques, dishes and crystal and became quite a collector. She looked forward to Reverend Barrett visiting and discussing their latest finds.
Pearl was a life member of the Church of the Ascension in Apohaqui as well as a member and past president of the Anglican Church Women.
Pearl loved her family. She was proud of her children and grandchildren and looked forward to their visits. In her later years, she became very close to her homemakers, Donna Kyte and Melissa Noel. Pearl loved them both and they soon became part of her family. Pearl also loved her church and the many people she met throughout her life. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Your life was richer because you knew her, she will be missed.
Pearl will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Judy Chambers and her husband Ralph of Riverview and Pam Mason and her husband Peter of Sussex; her son Jackie Tribe and his wife Norma of Brampton; her sisters: Frances Kyle of Sussex, Jean McNevin and Doris Oxton, both of Toronto; her grandchildren: Amy, Alyson, Korey, Kyle, Bruce and Colleen; her great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Margaret Pearl (Kyle) Tribe went to be with her Lord on September 13th, 2013 at the Sussex Health Center surrounded by her loving family. She is predeceased by her brothers, Albert and Walter Kyle and her sister, Ruby Stockton.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506) 433-1176.
A celebration of Pearl's life will be held at the Church of the Ascension in Apohaqui on Tuesday, September 17th, 2013 at 2:30pm.
Interment will take place in the Church of Ascension Cemetery followed by a time of fellowship with Pearl's family at Medley Hall, across from the Church.
