Our baby Thomas was born en route to Saint John on September 10, 2013. This little angel will live on in the hearts of his parents, Gordon John and Patricia Claire (Cummings) Hay, his brother Isaac, his sisters: Meredith, Emma and Maria, his maternal grandparents Mike and Betty (Coughlan) Cummings of Sussex, his paternal grand-parents John and Patsy (Quigley) Hay of Sussex; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Thomas came into our lives only a short while and passed away at the IWK Health Centre, Halifax on September 17, 2013 at the age of 7 days. The first time we held you, we were overcome by emotions. From that moment forward our lives changed forever. In just 7 days you taught us how to love unconditionally; how to always put our children before ourselves. Though you are no longer with us, all the gifts you've given us will be with us forever. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11:00 am.
