Ernest was born in New Maryland, NB on July 4, 1935; he was the son of the late Ralph and Irene (Shakespere) Lord. Ernest was a retired Building Inspector for the City of Barrie, ON. Ernest will continue to live on in the hearts and thoughts of Sheila (Crawford) his beloved wife of 57 years, his daughters: Cindy Pattenden and her husband Larry of London, ON, Shari Bumstead of Florida, and Terri Burden and her husband Jerry of Kapolei, Hawaii; his son, Steve Lord of Olds, Alberta; his brothers: Ralph Lord and his wife Marie of Dieppe, and Alfred Lord and his wife Jackie of McAdam; his brother-in-law Gerald Herron of McAdam; his ten grandchildren: Scott Adair and his wife Heather of Pickering ON, Tyler Pattenden of London, ON, Kaleena Patrowich and her husband Scott of Delray Beach, Florida, Kurtis Duggan of Bracebridge, ON, Kaitlyn Bumstead of Calgary, Alberta, Tara-Lynn Lord of Bowden, Alberta, Shawn Lord of Olds Alberta, Matthew, and Jessica both of Kapolei, Hawaii; and his three great grandchildren: Mackenzie, William and Damian; as well as by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Ernest Wilfred Lord of Sussex passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on September 24, 2013 at the age of 78. He is predeceased by his sister Renee Herron.
