It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gloria Morrison, who at 66 years of age went home to be with the Lord. She died peacefully with her children at her side, at the Saint John Regional Hospital on June 29, 2011. Mrs. Gloria Morrison was born in Newcastle Creek on November 23, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Lois McMann. Gloria loved being a realtor and has worked with Royal Lepage Atlantic in Sussex for the past several years. She loved the challenge of trying to find each of her clients their dream home and always wanted everyone to be totally satisfied with each and every purchase. She worked hard to make that happen. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and did so each and every day. She was a huge part of their lives. For her children she was the best mother in the world and they could ask for nothing more. For her grandchildren she will always be remembered as the Gramma that always had time for them and was always loads of fun and who loved them dearly. She is loved and missed more than words could ever say.She also spent many hours with her sister and brother-in-law, Verna and Clyde. She loved having them close by and would visit everyday. They were always there for each other and will love each other always. Gloria will be sadly missed by her four children: Ronda Proctor and her husband Bobby of Waterford, Rona Kyle and her husband Michael of Berwick, Ronnie Morrison and Bobbie Jo Mitton of Millbrook and Randy Morrison and Karen McMillan of Sussex; her six grandchildren: Katie, Charlie, Marley, Hailey, Hudson and Ali; her sister, Verna Sands and her husband Clyde of Sussex Corner; her brother, Rob McMann and his wife Lois of Sussex; her stepmother, Inez McMann of Newcastle Creek; her mother-in-law, Vera Morrison of Sussex; her brother-in-law, Murray Morrison of Sussex; as well as her niece and two nephews. She is predeceased by her father and mother, Murray and Lois McMann; her brother, Earl and her father-in-law, Charlie Morrison.
