It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Colleen Rae Parrillo of Marrtown, after a valiant struggle with cancer. Colleen was born on October 8th, 1955 in Providence, RI and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Virginia (McCaughey) Donahue and wife of Richard Ellis. As a child Colleen loved to play dress up, she was fun loving and had a great sense of humour. She loved her family and friends and spending time with them. Living in Marrtown gave her and Richard plenty of opportunity to go four wheeling and enjoy the outdoors. Colleen will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Richard Ellis of Marrtown; her sons: Kenneth Parrillo (Anna) and Raymond Parrillo, both of Rhode Island; her sisters: Anna Donahue and Susan Donahue (Danielle), both of Massachusettes and her niece Erin White. Colleen was predeceased by her mother when she was only eleven years old and by her father in 1979 as well as by her brother Joseph Donahue in 2013. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, November 8th from 6-8pm.
