Roma was born in Haldimand, Gaspe, Quebec on October 5, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Felix and Edith (Berchervaise) Cunning and the wife of the late Ralph Doody, who passed away in September 2013. Roma will be lovingly remembered by: Her daughter, Diana Bernier and her husband Serge; their three children: Rhonda Bernier, Marcel Bernier, his sons: Brandon, Lee and Cody; and Lisa Bernie. Her her daughter-in-law, Verna Doody (wife of the late Donald Doody); their children: Angela Mitton and her daughter Rebecca, Cheryl Doody (Mark Scott) and daughter Mia and son Thomas, Tanya Doody (Jackson TwoBears), their daughter River and Terrence Doody. Her daughter, Sylvia Lucas and her husband Clifford; their children: Shawn Lucas and his wife Lorraine, their children: Hayley and Colton; Tyson Lucas and his wife Chris, their children: Tylyn, Grayson and Levi; Trevis Lucas and his wife Nicole, their children: Eric, Brett, Tyler, Laura and Anna; Miranda Lucas (Ryan Fox) their sons: Keegan, Conner and Kalum. Her daughter, Elsie Rehel and her husband Augustin, their children: Steve Rehel and his wife Marie-Eve, their daughters: Jade and Maya; Celine Rehel (Pascal Poulin), their sons: Anthony and Dominick; Stephanie Rehel (Pascal Turegon) their children: Mia and Liam. Her daughter, Susan McKoy wife of the late Donald McKoy, their children: Melissa McKoy (Cory Thistle) their son Colby; Roxanne McKoy (Dan Cunha), their daughters: Alyssa and Paige; Priscilla McKoy (Greg Ellis) their children: Madison and Easton. Her daughter, Eunice Mitton and her husband Richard, their children: Jodie Mitton and his wife Jan, their children: Reese, Willow and Lola Mitton and Roma Myers and her husband Anthony and their son Chase. Her daughter, Doris Mitton and her husband Travis, their children: Travis Mitton and his wife Julia; their sons: Jules and Cash, and Melanie Mitton (Justin Dawson), their sons: Kai and Kalen. Her son, Fred Doody and his wife Peggy, their children: Jeremy Doody and his wife Kirsten, their daughter Avery; Shari Neil and her husband Mike, their daughters: Peyton and Sami; and Luke Doody. Her son, Frank Doody and his wife Angela, children: Jessica, Alison and Mathew. Her son, Ralph Doody and his wife Patti, their children: Carter and Brody. Her daughter, Lori Crealock and her husband Brent, and their son Colin. Mrs. Roma Gertrude Charlotte (Cunning) Doody of Salisbury passed away at the Moncton Hospital, on November 17, 2013 at the age of 86. She is predeceased by Ralph, the love of her life, her sons, Roderick and Donald, her daughter Vina, her brother, Ernest and by her sisters: Florence Pearson and Lorna Baird. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). In honour of Roma's wishes no visitation will take place. A graveside service celebrating Roma's life will be held at Trinity Cemetery, Sussex Corner, on November 20th, 2013 at 2:30pm. There will be a gathering at Lori and Brent's house at 17 Back Road immediately following the graveside service.
