Obituary of Florence Proctor

Florence was born in Sussex Corner on November 22, 1920, to Ruel and Florence (Robinson) Hall. She lost her mother while she was a very young girl, her father remarried Lillian Wallace who Florence grew to love as her own mother. Florence was a member of St. Marks Anglican Church, she enjoyed bowling and music. She played guitar and loved to make up verses and was very good at it. Florence was bestowed with the honour of receiving an award by the Mayor of Sussex Corner for being the oldest living resident who had been born and lived in Sussex Corner her entire life. Florence will live on in the hearts of her daughters: Noreen Dunfield and her husband Ronald, Ruth O'Brien and her husband Derrell and Angela Proctor, all of Sussex Corner; her daughter-in-law Judy Proctor of Sussex; two brothers: Sterling Hall of Sackville and Ruel Hall Jr. and his wife Marion of Sussex Corner; her grandchildren: Kimberly Lisson, Kevin Dunfield, Ronald Dunfield Jr. and his wife Hughanna, Christopher O'Brien and his wife Betty Jo, Scott O'Brien and his wife Teresa, Troy Proctor, Tracy Proctor and Deane Dickinson and Corey Peterson and Sarah McFarlane; her great grandchildren: Owen, Cayden, Allison June, Sarah, Isaiah, Hannah, Emily, Eli, Bria, Braeden, Brooklyn and Jordan as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Florence Marguerite Proctor of Sussex Corner passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on November 30, 2013 at the age of 93. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Russell J. Proctor who passed away in 2002, her son Harold who passed away in 2008 and her sister Laura Dunfield. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A service celebrating Florence's life will be held from St. Mark's Anglican Church on Wednesday, December 4th, 2013 at 11:00am. A private family interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery, followed by a time of fellowship with the family in the Church Hall.
