Obituary of Dorothy Josephine Beach-Daigle
Dorothy was born in Coles Island on January 13, 1930, and was the daughter of the late John Wood and Isabel Perry.
Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Edmund Daigle; four daughters: Stella Linfield and Mirns Tingley, Heather McLellan and her husband Phil, Sheila Dyer and her husband Rick, and Florence MacDonald and her husband Bev; nine sons: David Beach and his wife Marjorie, Harold Beach and his wife Joanne, Elias Beach and his wife Margo, Russell Beach and his wife Wendy, Ensley Beach, Walter Beach and Cathy Seamans, Beverly Beach and his wife Jane, Ralph Beach and his wife Lynn, Burton Beach and his wife Nila, her step-son Garnet Daigle; two brothers: Charlie Wood and his wife Marjorie and Bev Wood and his wife Eva, two sisters: Lizzie Steen, Hilda Torne and her husband Ron; her sister-in-law, Betty Wood; her Grandchildren: John Beach (Erica), Shaun Hearn(Sarifa), Craig Hearn (Summer), Becky Hearn (Todd), Colleen Freeze (Mike), Amy Johnson (Jeff), Jennifer Beach (Jason), Angela Wooden (Norm), Corey Beach (Meghan Lincoln), Chris MacDonald, Pam MacDonald, Michelle MacDonald, Jill MacDonald Jeremy Beach (Chrissy), Jason Beach (Samantha), Heather Thorne (Jody), Crystal Nassuai (Nick), Scott Beach, Mark Beach, Janice Beach, Jessica Beach, Michael Castonguay, Adam Castonguay, Amy Castonguay (Alex), Kyle Castonguay (Lyndsey), Mark Wright (Rachel) and Robert (Melissa); her Great Grandchildren: Cayla, Kendall, Cassy, Jake, Eathan, Hadley, Chelsey, Marc, Madison, Raelynn, Peyton, Kiersten, Savannah, Tyrone, Alyia, Halaina, Rayanna, Micah, Andrew, Jacob, Sophia, Jarrett, Keith, Hannah, Neighomi, Karleigh, Tanner, Autumn and Karmen as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Dorothy Josephine Beach-Daigle of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on December 1, 2013 at the age of 83. She is predeceased by her first husband, Clarence "Bows" Beach who passed away in 1977; her infant daughter Della, her daughter-in-law Joanne Beach, her brother, Earl Wood and by two sisters: Bernice Sleep and Vera Jeffery.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Calvary Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, December 4 from 1-3 and 6-8pm.
A Celebration of Dorothy's life will be held from Calvary Pentecostal Church on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 11:00am.
The interment will take place at Coles Island Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Coles Island Lions Den.
