Arnold Sleep was born in Coles Island on April 8, 1911; he was the son of the late Bert and Bertha (White) Sleep. Arnold will live on in the hearts of Ethel, his beloved wife of 75 years; his daughter, Sandra Trecartin (late Raymond) of Coles Island, his son, Ashley and his wife Theresa of Naisonworth, NB, his sister, Jennie Gallo and her husband Ernie of Hamilton; five grandchildren: Timothy Trecartin, Angela Trecartin, Yolanda (late Gary) Mullett, Arnold-Paul Sleep and Leah Mercer; five great grandchildren: Chantelle, Cassandra, Tatiana, Destiny,and Anthony; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Arnold William Sleep of Main St. Sussex formerly of Coles Island passed away at the Oromocto Hospital on December 18, 2013 at the age of 102. He is predeceased by his children: Wayne, Myrna, Eugene and Ina Maxine; his sisters: Catherine Sleep, Mary Robinson, Sybil Jones, Hazel Sleep and Greta Sleep; his brothers: Lee and Fred Sleep; his brothers-in-law: Lorne Owen, Bob Jones, Bill Robinson and Herbert Sleep, and by his sisters-in-law: Trudy and Evelyn Sleep. A service Celebrating Arnold's Life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday December 21, 2013 at 2:00pm followed by an opportunity to meet with the family.
