Obituary of Darren Boyd

Darren was born in Saint John on February 11, 1985; he was the son of John Wayne Boyd of Salmon Creek and Karen Diane (Thorne) formerly of Saint John. Darren graduated from Cambridge Narrows High School and was a Drill Rig operator with Ground Force Inc in Calgary. Darren will live on in the hearts of his parents; his sister, Candice Boyd of Codys; his nieces and nephews: Jered, Cameron, Sarah and Allysa; his maternal grandmother Mary Thorne of French Village; his aunts and uncles: Albert Boyd and his wife Nina of Ontario, Russell Boyd of Quispamsis, Gary Boyd and his wife Jennie, Arnold Boyd and his wife Dee and Michael Boyd all of Salmon Creek, and Mark Boyd from Moncton, Joan Boyd of Salmon Creek, Linda Thorne (Doug Smith) of Grand Bay, Susan Cawley and her husband Chris of Quispamsis and Stephen Thorne and his wife Brenda of Saint John; as well as several cousins. Mr. Darren John Boyd of Codys, NB passed away in Calgary on December 22, 2013 at the age of 28. He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents: Bertie (Henderson) and Merton Boyd; his maternal grandfather Albert Thorne; his aunts: Gail Keith and Yvonne Boyd, and by his uncles Lloyd and Norman Boyd Arrangements have been entrusted to the Compassionate Care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) with visitation on Saturday, December 28th, 2013 from 1-3pm. A service celebrating Darren's Life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Sunday, December 29th, 2013 at 1:00pm. The interment will take place at Coles Island Cemetery, Coles Island.
