Obituary of Evelyn Mallery
Evelyn was born in Chambers Settlement on February 7, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Ira and Lillian (Dalling) Fanjoy and was the wife of the late Frederick John Mallery who passed away in 1979.
She was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sussex Branch #20, a former member of Sussex Senior Citizens Club and a member of Sussex Baptist Church.
Evelyn will live on in the hearts of her sons: Walter Mallery (Heather Scott) of Fundy Park Rd and Burton Mallery (Brenda) of Sussex and Wallace Mallery (Diana) of Cornhill; grandchildren; Krista Munroe (Shawn) of Apohaui; Misty Rouse (Michael) of Sussex, Cecil Mallery (Tamie) of Petitcodiac, Drew Mallery (Sarah) of Skiff Lake, Meductic and Frederick Mallery (Carol) of Mount Eagle; great grandchildren: Shawn Alexandra, Julie Jensen, Harley Rose Mallery, Jack Mallery, Tanner Rouse, Rylon Rouse, Anderson Mallery and Jadelyn Mallery as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Florence Evelyn Mallery of Sussex passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on December 25, 2013 at the age of 81.
She is the last surviving member of her immediate family, she is predeceased by her brothers: Garfield, Milton, Clinton and Cecil Fanjoy and by her daughter-in-law; Betty Mallery.
The Arrangements have been entrusted to the Compassionate Care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex.
A service celebrating Evelyn's life is held from Wallace Community Chapel on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 2:00 pm. A private family interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery.
The family has requested there be no flowers. If you are considering making a memorial donation the family has recommended the Canadian Red Cross or the Sussex Health Center.
