Obituary of Robert Mason

Bob Mason was born in Saint John on December 5, 1941; he was the son of the late Robert Samuel Mason and Marion Rachel (Cunningham) Mason. Bob will live on in the hearts of Irene, his beloved wife of 54 years, his daughters: Pam Mason and Mike Trainor of St. Stephen, Kim Hanson and her husband Andrew of St. Stephen, Debbie Mason of St. Thomas Ontario; three sons: Robert Jr. Mason and his wife Dionne of St. Stephen, David Mason and his wife Diane of Hampton, William "Willie" Mason and his wife Joanne of St. Stephen; nine grandchildren: Ronnie Lord (Martine) of Grand Dique, Patricia Lord of St. Thomas, Ontario. Rachel Lord of Guelph, Ontario, Jessica Mason of St. Stephen, Katelin Mason of Oromocto, Asa Mason, Cheyanne Trainor, Brooke Mason and Brittany Mason all of St. Stephen;nine great grandchildren: Laurena, Carrissa, Matillda, Makenna, Arianna, Summerlynn, Adessa, Jonathan and Kenton; two sisters: Ruth West (Roger) and Elizabeth Myles (Michael); his special Aunt Elizabeth Koven and Aunt Joan Cunningham of Sussex Corner, his uncles Ernest Cunningham and his wife Phyllis of Sussex and Harvey Cunningham and his wife Janet of Lincoln, Maine and Charlie Warner of Saint John.as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Mr. Robert William Alexander Mason of Cedar Camp, passed away suddenly at the Sussex Health Centre on January 8, 2014 at the age of 71. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where the family will receive relatives and friends on Friday 1-3 and 6-8 pm. A service celebrating Bob's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to come to the family home, 346 Cedar Camp Rd., following a private family vault interment at Trinity Cemetery.
