I wish I could say I knew Judy for many years but really I only got to meet her after Jamie and Charlee moved to New Brunswick. Charlee had warned me that "mom loves to talk", it was like meeting an old friend. How could we not hit it off, our children were in love.
My favourite memory is the day Charlee invited me to come with her and Judy to go wedding dress shopping, what an honour to be included on such an important day. What fun it was, Judy and I sat like two mother hens as Charlee modelled several gowns, even some we picked out, she is such a good sport! We laughed lots and cried a little as we realized our babies really were grown up and getting married.
When we parted that day it was with the promise of a new friendship. I will miss her.

We would like to express our sincere sympathy to the McLaughlin and Payne Families. Thank the Lord for the beautiful times over the years of visits to Flat River,PEI. One visit Bob discovered land across the highway was for sale. Bob and Judy left and came back and bought the property and became our neighbours. We have wonderful memories of them, their family, their extended family and their friends. The celebrations are etched in the peacefulness of overlooking the Northumberland Straits.
