Mrs. Ida Maud McFarlane was born in Bloomfield Station on July 27, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Joel and Ella May (Stackhouse) Chase and was the wife of the late Everett Murray McFarlane who passed away in 1999. Ida is survived by two daughters: Donna McFarlane and her husband Steven Glendening of Rothesay and Phyllis Dahl and her husband Nelson of Kitchener, ON; her son, Daryl McFarlane and his wife Joan of Hampton; her sister, Jean Sprott of Lower Cove; five grandchildren: Richard Ryan and his wife Brenda of Ontario, Tracey Wetselaar and Jim Flynn of Ontario, Heather MacMichael and her husband Scott of Quispamsis, April Rioux and her husband Adam of Quispamsis and Scott McFarlane and Jessica Ganong of Hampton; six great-grandchildren: Andy, Becky, Danny, Brittany, Jake and Lydia; three great great grandchildren: Ben, Kassidy and Justin; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ida Maud McFarlane of Sussex passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on June 23, 2011 at the age of 84. She is predeceased by her brothers: Norman, Elmer and Charles Chase; her sister, Addie Humphrey; her nephew, Russell Sprott and her great great grandson, Everett Chester.
