Grace was born on June 7, 1942 in St. John's, Newfoundland. She was the daughter of the late Theodore and Gertrude (Noseworthy) Moore and the wife of the late John Grant, who passed away in 2012. Grace was not only a member of the Trinity Anglican Church, but was very active in the Church and made many lifelong friendships throughout the years. She loved to cook and entertain her friends and family. She and John were married for almost fifty years and cherished being grandparents. Grace was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many and she will be dearly missed. Grace will live on in the hearts of her daughter, Donna Grant and her husband Robert Young of New Maryland; her son, John Jr. and his wife Sonia of Ottawa; her grandchildren: Rochelle Young, Mathis and Kaël Grant; hers brother Robert; her sisters: Ruth, Doris and Lillian as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mrs. Grace Jean (Moore) Grant of Roachville. Grace passed away at the Sussex Health Center on March 22, 2014 following a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her brother Ted and her sister Elizabeth. Arrangements are in the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, NB (506) 433-1176. There will be a Celebration of Grace's life on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11:00am held at Trinity Anglican Church. Interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery in the spring.
