From the time I was little I have always looked at Aunt Margery as being the mother hen of the Perry family.
She was like a mini Grammie. Always soft spoken and so much like Grammie Perry (Dolly).
The one thing I will always remember is her Basket. Every day she would pack her lunch for school and always had extra treats in the basket. Some days if it was raining out she would stop and pick us up so we would be dry for school. Our driveway was 1/4 of a mile long and the buss would be late. On this one ocasion for some reason I was the only one she picked up and as a kid I was really courious of what she had in that basket as we drove and talked I could see the smile on her face as she new I was courious. by the time we reached school she asked me if I would like to see what was in the basket and I was really quick on a yes. So we opened it together and in it was her lunch and Two palomine bars one for her and one for me. This was such a special treat.
Not a year has ever gone bye that she would write a note in a card at Christmas.
We will truley miss Her at the reunions as she was so attentive to all young and old.I can still here her voice...Hello How are you? You take good care of yourself Please...... So Aunt Margery once again we will say hello, and till then you take good care of yourself please, and rest in peace.

We will always hold Aunt Margery in our hearts forever. She was always there for us from the time we were born to now with an open ear to hear all our stories. Each holiday meal couldnt get started till one us went down to Aunt Margerys to pick her up. She always wanted to hear what was going on in our lives and to make sure we were all doing ok. Of course when we would gather we all seemed to be talking at the same time about different things and u could look over and see Aunt Margerys eyes going to each of us and listening because she didnt want to miss a thing.She took interested in what we were doing but always saying u need to take care of yourself as well. As she was there for the five of us(george kids as she called us) she was always there for our children as well. She always enjoyed the times when Dad would be babysitting Christopher and Matthew and the sunday evenings when Dad and Cody would be listening to the old country music on the radio. How she and Dad would offer turn the music up and dance in the porch. This was their favorite thing to do together as Aunt Margery loved to dance like George did..Her style of clothing was the greatest accordinly to Courtney and Megan.They always thought she looked so beautiful in her matching colors and her style and Aunt Margery would say "oh this outfit is so old" but it look so new to them. As Aunt Margery always had the greatest tan with her darker nylons I sometimes would caught Megan wearing them as well. If Aunt Margery could do it so could she. She was a special person to us all and as she got older she looked so much like her Mother(Grammie Perry). Her baby brother (geroge) was the apple of her eye. They would laugh together, argue black and white and cry togther. But most of all they loved each other. Aunt Margery you will be missed by us (geroge kids) and by my father (your baby brother george) and the next time we gather we will tell stories and memories of you as we sip our black cup of tea.

Margery will always be remembered by us for
being just like Grammie Perry,
very particular in the way things were done,
her rainhat-whether it was raining or not,
always being "dressed up" regardless of what she was doing,
her on going concern of how everyone was,
being able to find the good reasoning of why things happened the way they did,
having a little brother(Dad) who could do no wrong, and the special nickname she was given.
