Earl was born on June 27, 1944 in Waterside, NB and was a son of the Late Charles and Annie (Rossiter) Douthwright. Earl joined the Canadian Forces for three years. He spent most of his life as a tire technician, OK Tire on Church Ave, later with Sussex Tire and Maritime Tire. Earl was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be truly missed. Earl will live on in the hearts of his wife Pearl (Gailey); his son, Neal and his wife Jen of Bruderheim, AB, his daughters: Amber of Kuujjuaq, Que, Krista and her husband Dwayne of Southfield and Gina and her husband Raymond of Sussex; his adopted daughter, Monia Weber of Youngs Cove; his sister, Treva Frigualt and her husband Adelard of Quispamsis; his brother, Lewis and his wife Mary of Lakeside; his grandchildren: Kacey, Devin, Bryson, Hayden, Jaxson, Bailey, Samuel, and Tegan. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Earl Allen Douthwright of Newline. Earl passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on March 26, 2014, after a brief illness. A Celebration of Earl's life will be held on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2014 from 10:00am from Wallace Community Chapel, followed by a tribute by the Sussex Royal Canadian Legion Branch #20.
