Joyce was born in Hunters Home on January 13, 1945; she was the daughter of the late Irvin George Black of Hunters Home, NB and Bertha Eileen Wood of Brookvale, NB Joyce will live on in the hearts of, Victor, her beloved husband of 52 years; three children: Jeff Corey and his wife Janice of Petitcodiac, Richard Corey and his wife Judy of Petitcodiac and Shawn Corey and his wife Robin Douglas, NB; six grandchildren: Adam, Brett, Kayla, Matthew, Nolan and Regan; her sister, Barbara McNamara of Hampton; her brothers: Wayne Black and his wife Roxanne and Stuart Black and his wife Eleanor both of Hunter's Home; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Joyce Elaine Corey of Sussex passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on April 2, 2014 at the age of 69. She is predeceased by her brother-in-law, John McNamara and her daughter-in-law, Vicki. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A private family service celebrating Joyce's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel, the interment will take place at Coles Island Cemetery.
