Obituary of Ronald George Wasser
Ronald George Wasser was born in Meyers Crossing, Pennsylvania, USA on February 1, 1942 and was the son of the late George and Mildred (Shive) Wasser.
While living in Virginia, on occasion Ron and, his wife, Eve helped to care for many children. His love for children was evident, in that he would always try to get them to try different foods, coloring, etc. He became "Daddy Ron" to Laura and Jimmy when their father passed away. Ron was a lovable man and never turned down hugs and kisses from all the children.
When Ron's grandchildren came along he was called Pappy and all the children who stayed with them. The children would share gingersnaps, fishy crackers, and even help Pappy decorate Christmas cookies.
When Ron became ill, he had his own special nurses. Lily telling people to be quiet because her Pappy was sleeping, Sam holding his hand, as well as Madison helping with his slippers and Cole sitting on his lap. He loved children so much that he missed them when they were not around, but he had many, many memories of all the happy times with them.
Ron will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife of 49 years, Eve (Nasatka) Wasser; his daughter, Michele Bonnell and her husband Gerry of Plumweseep; his son, Ronald Bruce Wasser and his wife Norma of Riverview; his grandchildren: Kristina, Ronald Charles, Michael, Robert, Jason and Bradley; as well as several nieces and nephews.
