Obituary of Bob James
Bob was born in Saint John West to Lawrence (Mawhinney) and Charles W. James.
He was educated in Saint John started a long career with Burns Foods, serving the Atlantic provinces and later in Ontario, Manitoba and Alberta. He retired from Burns Foods, presently known as Maple Leaf Foods in Moncton in 1991 and he made his home in the Sussex Area.
He was a faithful member of the Sussex Kiwanis Club and was awarded the Mel Osborne Fellowship in 2010. He was an active member of the Maces Bay Cemetery Association and the Men's Brotherhood of Trinity Anglican Church.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Carmen (Robinson); his daughter, Carolyn and her husband Brian Sim and their children: Alexander and Victoria Sim; also by his son, Bruce James and his wife Lani (Pagtakhan) and their son Evan of Winnipeg. as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sisters: Phyllis James and Helen Ellis
Following cremation, a celebration of Bob's life will be held from Trinity Anglican Church with time and date to be announced. There will be a time of fellowship with the family in the church hall followed by his interment in Maces Bay Cemetery
