Larry Allen Craig was born in Sussex on October 24, 1979; he was the son of Rona (McEwen) and the late Larry Craig. Larry graduated from Sussex Regional High in 1998, but Larry could never sit still long, whether it was where he lived: New Brunswick, Ontario and out west; what he did for a living: from working on a farm, to driving truck or working at Sussex Tire; to spending time with his family. Family was very important to Larry; especially his children who were his pride and joy and hanging out with his brother, Adam. Larry loved camping, animals, music, cars and trucks. He had a huge heart and would give anyone the shirt off his back. He will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. Larry is survived by his mother, Rona Craig and his step dad Arnold Belding of Pleasant Ridge; his children: Amelia, Allen and Shayne; his step-children: Megan and Alex; the mother of his children Kelly Craig; his brother, Adam Craig of Comox, BC, his maternal grandmother Evelyn McEwen of Berwick; his girlfriend, Julie Long of Belleisle; several aunts and uncles: Alice Cowan and Bob Steel of Grand Valley ON, Nancy Arsenault and her husband Ed of Post Rd, Verna DeLong of Penobsquis; Evelyn Raymond of Norton; Brenda Gillespie and husband David of Westfield, Daryl Belding and Elsie Gregg of Mt. Middleton; Calvin Belding and wife Kathy of Anagance, Mike Belding and wife Alma of Saint John; Mac Belding and his wife Brenda of St. Martin's; as well as several cousins. Mr. Larry Allen Craig of Pleasant Ridge passed away on May 6, 2014 at the age of 34. Larry is predeceased by his father Larry Craig who passed away in 1993 and by his paternal grandparents: Allen and Katherine (Fraser) Craig and by his maternal grandfather Ron McEwen and by his uncles: Phil DeLong, Ernest Raymond, Douglas Belding and by his aunt, Mary Belding. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Friday from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A service celebrating Larry's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11:00 am. There will be an opportunity to speak with the family immediately following the service in the Wallace Reception Area. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
