David was born on April 26, 1936. He was the son of the late Charles and Marjorie (Rhindress) Archibald and the husband of the late Joan (Parlee) Archibald who passed away in 2009. David is survived by his three daughters: Kathy Cole and her husband Elmer, Connie Archibald and Sharon Archibald; his sisters: Joan Robinson of London, Ontario, Alice Goodine and her husband Fred of Surrey, BC and Bonnie Cox and her husband Jay of Winnipeg; his sister-in-law, Margaret Archibald of Upper Musquodobit; his grandchildren: David Cole and his wife Pam, Jonathon Cole and Leanne McCullum, Lauren Gaetz, Elliot Gaetz and Christiana Myers; his six great grandchildren: Ryan, Sam, Jacob, Makayla, Austin and Jackson; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Joan, David was predeceased by his brothers: William Archibald and James Archibald; his sisters: Fran Zander, Eileen Walsh and Norma Brown; his brother-in-laws: Laurie Brown, Don Walsh and Don Kennedy. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th from 6-8pm. A Celebration of David's life will be held from Salvation Army Community Church on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00 am followed by an opportunity to speak with the family in the Church Reception Area. A private family interment will take place at Trinity Cemetery.
