Leta was born in Pollett River on April 18, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Ethel (Killam) Campbell and was the wife of the late Emery McPhee. Leta is survived by her son, Ken and his wife Joan of Penobsquis and her grandson, Martin (Pam Swim); as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Leta Glendine McPhee of Sussex, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on June 4, 2014 at the age of 85. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). There will be no visitation as per Leta's wishes. A memorial service will be held on July 6th, 2014 at 3:00pm at the Salvation Army Community Church.
