Terry was always a most welcoming host and beautiful friend that made you feel at home. She had a way of making you feel safe in your own skin. She was remarkably beautiful inside and out; and very kind to anyone that was under her care. We were a witness to her love and kindness and patience on every occassion that we viisted. Anybody that knew Terry, knew that she loved an adventure and a good time. She truly knew how to uplift a broken spirit, and forever a cheerleader to those around her. Terry will be forever etched in our hearts, for her many acts of kindness and love. Terry you will always shine. Forever and always missed. Love Always,
Kathy & John

I met Terry when we were both 16. I saw the twinkle in her eye and heard her infectious laugh and knew that I wanted to know her better. Get to know her I did and we actively partied through our teens together. When I married she was, of course, my maid of honour. And when my son was born, the person I trusted most with him was Terry. Terry was infinitely kind and would go out of her way to help anyone with her time, her money, her energy. She also worked harder than most of us and she worked all the time. She extended herself so many times for people and she never expected anything for herself. Her sons meant the world to her and she told me that she deeply regretted that she might leave them but could feel herself losing the fight to stay. Forty-five years later I realize that I have never met anyone that could make me laugh as much as Terry, or make me feel as good about myself, or listen so well and with such an understanding heart. Knowing Terry made the world a much better place to be. My condolences to all of the family and especially to Matthew and James. If kindness and loving good needs count, and they do, then you know your Mom has joined the angels and will always watch over you.

My memories of terry are that she was a loving, caring, understanding women who had a heart if gold. I have known terry for 23 years and she was like my second mother, her son James and I grew up together. Me and Terry started to get really close over the last 10 years we were always together, we did everything together. There wasn't anything I wouldn't do for her. Terry has always been there for me no matter what is was. She put me in my place a few times but I needed it. Terry you have left a Large hole in my heart that I know no one will be able to fill. I know you said not to cry but I'm sorry I can't help it I lost the most amazing friend ever. I'm gonna miss you so very much and I'm hoping that you will be my gradian angel and continue to watch over. I love you and I will always love you and I hope to see you again sometime....

James,Matthew and family. I knew your mother from what feels like many moons ago. We met during my time at CYS and we worked together during many night shifts. Eventhough I had not seen or spoken to your mom in awhile; thoughts of her passed in my mind often .Thoughts of laughter, jokes, kindness, generosity and the list goes on. Your mom was a very hard worker and loved her children...that much was clear! I am saddened at your loss and for everyone that knew her,but also comforted by knowing she is no longer suffering. My sympathies go out to you and your family.

There are not enough words to describe the Woman that Terry was. Mom,sister,Aunt, friend, confidant. She was a caring and beautiful woman inside and out. She loved her family and boys unconditionally and with all her being. To have been her friend is an honour . We met at CYS and she taught me so much and we past many a night shift together laughing and telling stories. She was always so appreciative of anything someone did for her and never complained when things got tough. She made the best fudge ever and her "Glazed Hams" were to be admired, even when she cooked the plastic wrap with them...lol. Every time I smell Javex, I will think of Terry. Terry, your good deeds on Earth out number and shine brighter than all the stars in the sky. I know you will be watching over all your family and friends and just shaking your head at some of us saying..."What to heck were you thinkin'"....It is an honour and privilege to have been counted as one of your friends. Rest in Peace Terry , you deserve every respect for the good you did in your life and you earned every feather in your wings that you will wear in Heaven. You will be sadly missed and remembered always...Evelyn

If I only had one word to describe Terry it would be FRIEND. We met at work and became friends. She was an amazing woman devoted to her own family and the families she cared for during her career in the Human Service Field. To know that Terry spent her life caring for others first, brings comfort to my heart, because she fullfilled her mission in life. Rest easy my FRIEND.

Terry you fought a long and hard battle to stay with us, we knew the Angels were waiting to carry you home, with our blessing you finally closed your eyes and went to sleep. You left a large hole in our lives, The pain is eased a little knowing that you are at peace, probably partying with Linda, and Joe and the rest of the gang on the other side you said you were hanging out with every night for the past month. R.I.P. We love you Terry. From: James & Nettie.
