Kaye was born on April 22nd, 1936 in Head of Jeddore, Nova Scotia; she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Hazel (Mosher) Stoddard. In 1958 Kaye graduated from "Children's Hospital" in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Kaye will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ronald; her children: Ian, Wendy, Denise (Burke), Duane and Darren; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kathleen "Kaye" Alice Smith of Penobsquis, passed away on July 24, 2014 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by her siblings: Margaret (Streatch), Morris (Bud) Edmund, Bertha (Morrison), Eva (Pond), Frances (Grubb), John, Karl and Isabel (Redmond).
