Ron Dunfield was born in Springdale on February 16, 1938; he was the son of the late John Dunfield and Margaret (Goddard) Dunfield both of Penobsquis. Ron will continue to live on in the hearts of Noreen his beloved wife of almost 53 years, his children Kim Lisson of Wards Creek, Kevin Dunfield of Sussex Corner and Ronald Dunfield and his wife Hughanna of Waterford; four grandchildren: Sarah, Owen, Cayden and Allison; his brother Kenneth Dunfield and his wife Betty of Waterford, his sister-in-law Rosalee Dunfield of Apohaqui, as well as several nieces, nephews aunts uncles and cousins. Mr. Ronald Welton Dunfield of Sussex Corner passed away with his family at his side at the Saint John Regional Hospital on August 15, 2014 at the age of 76, he is predeceased by his brother Clifford (Kip) Dunfield and by his son-in-law Donald Lisson. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). A service Celebrating Ron's Life will be from Penobsquis Baptist Church on Monday, August 18, 2014 at 11:00 am followed by an opportunity to meet with the family in the Church Hall.
