Obituary of Mirns Tingley
Mirns was born in Bathurst on October 25, 1941; he was the son of the late Gerald Tingley of Riverside, Albert Co and Gladys (Glidden) Tingley of Pokemouche, NB.
Mirns is survived by his companion Stella Linfield, his children: Tracy Hanlin and her husband Corey of Hillsdale and Tasha McAlary and her husband Chris of Berwick; his grandchildren Adam Hanlin and Kayla Crowe of Sussex, Alysha Tingley and Tom MacEachern of Pearsonville, Jeremy Tingley and Nicole Lewis of Hillsdale, Connor and Lucas McAlary of Berwick; his great grandson Cole; his sisters: Patsy Devine and her husband Walter, Francis Devine, Ethel Payne and her husband Jim, Marina Buchanan and her husband Melbourne all of Hillsdale; his brothers: Perley Tingley and his wife Florence of Hillsdale and Walter Tingley and his wife Connie of Ontario; his sisters-in-law: Ellen Hanlon of Hampton, Catherine Parlee of Norton, and Elizabeth Lutes of Hampton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Mirns William Tingley of Hillsdale passed away suddenly at home on August 15, 2014 at the age of 72. He is predeceased by his infant daughter Marina, wife Genny (Doherty) in 2002, his son Tony in 2007 and daughter-in-law Brenda in 2011; his sister Evelyn and her husband Tom McMackin; his brothers-in-law Mike Devine,Gary Hanlon, Lloyd Parlee and Ken Lutes.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th from 1-3 and 6-8pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Francis Xavier RC Church on Wednesday, August 20th, 2014 at 10:00am followed by a reception in the Church Hall.
A private family interment will take place at in Saddleback Cemetery at a later date.
