Obituary of David Walsh

David was born in Saint John on March 12, 1976; he was the son of Susan (Buchanan) Walsh of Apohaqui and the late James Walsh who passed away in 2010. When David was born, his parents were told they were having a girl and then when he was born his grandmother said "Looks like we made a boo-boo", which is how he received the nickname "Boo-Boo". As a boy he enjoyed "door bell ringing" with friends, he attended Sussex High School and loved to go camping with family, day trips and lots of traveling. David lives on in the hearts of his mother; Tanya, his adoring wife of almost 16 years, his son Benjamin, his brothers: Daniel and his fiancée Pam Mott of Smith Creek and John and his wife Elizabeth of Anagance, as well as several nieces and nephews; his mother and father-in-law: Joan and Jim Mitchell of Titusville; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. David James Walsh of Bloomfield, passed away at the Bobby's Hospice on September 4, 2014 at the age of 38. He is predeceased by his brother: Chris who passed away in 2010 and by his grandparents: Ada and Ronald Buchanan & Irene and Stanley Walsh. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). Visitation will be held from Sussex Wesleyan Church, 280 Saint George St., Sussex, on Friday evening from 6-8pm and Saturday 1-3 and 6-8pm. A service celebrating David's life will be held from Sussex Wesleyan Church on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 2:00 pm followed by an opportunity to share stories and speak with the family immediately following the service. The interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. If you are considering making a memorial donation the family has recommended the Bobby's Hospice. "I hope Ben knows how much I love him and that he grows to be a strong, independent man and someone that loves his family and treats people right. For him to be the best he can be. I hope Tanya has a good life with Ben and if she happens to find someone else that is good to her." David
