Obituary of Ernest Cummings
Ernie was born in Plumweseep on September 9, 1932 and was the son of the late Harry Cummings of Southfield and Ethel (Wheaton) Cummings of Newtown.
Ernie will continue to be in hearts of his sisters: Isabella Tabor and her husband Russell of Hillsdale, Mary Tabor and her husband Warren of Hillsdale and Cathy Cummings of Plumweseep, his brothers: John and Joe both of Plumweseep; his sister in law, Freda of B.C.; his nieces and nephews: Junior Tabor(Lisa), Patrica McLean (Wellington), Bernie Tabor (Sandra), Bryant Tabor(Bonnie), Janet Gregg(William) and Ed Tabor; his great nieces and nephews: Miranda McLean,Tyler McLean, Katelyn Tabor, Michelle Tabor, Michael Tabor (Brittany), Samantha Tabor, Trevor Tabor and by his special great nieces to whom he was like a grandfather: Ashlee Gregg and Jenna Gregg.
Mr. Ernest M. J. Cummings of Plumweseep passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on September 7, 2014 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by his brother, Fred and his infant sister, Annie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 1-3 and 5-7pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 10:00 am, followed by a reception in the Church Hall.
The interment will take place at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Cemetery.
