Obituary of Reg Perry
Have you ever heard the song, "I'm In a Hurry to Get Things Done, I Rush and Rush until Life's No Fun", well that's Reg. When ever he took on a job, he would rush and rush with the greatest determination of finishing the job as quickly and as efficiently as possible, even when he was paid by the hour. He would worry and fret until the job was done because he was so honest and hard working.
The strangers he met would be treated as old friends and old friends were friends for ever. He loved children and children loved him. A true kid magnet. Reg enjoyed life and tried to bring a laugh to all.
He enjoyed playing darts and ring toss and meeting with his family and friends every Sunday at his sister Mary Lou's and his best friends Nelson.
He was a very clean and tidy person who never minded doing dishes, laundry and he was a good cook too, sometimes trying his hand at baking.
We tended to complain about each other and argued often but that was because we cared. I will miss him so much. We would do jigsaw and crossword puzzles, watch TV, and taking long walks together.
He also loved animals, especially his cats, and always made sure that none of us ever did without. He may not have had much but he shared what he had with family and friends alike. God bless him.
Mr. Reginald Paul Perry was born in Sussex, NB on June 27, 1954, he was the son of the late Elmer and Florence (Lewis) Perry.
