Obituary of Evelyn Darling

Mrs. Mary Evelyn Darling was born in Wards Creek on January 6, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Friars of Wards Creek and Effie (Orr) of Millbrook and the wife of the late Everett Darling, who passed away in 1993. Evelyn will live on in the hearts of her children: Gary Darling and his wife Judy, Arnie Darling and his wife Sarah both of Sussex and Terry Darling and his wife Sherry of Bridgewater, NS; her son-in-law, Stephen Biggley of Hamilton, ON; her sister, Edna Walker and her husband Frank of Newline; eight grandchildren: Larry Darling and his wife Nikki of BC, Dean Darling of Red Deer, Kari Darling and her husband Peter of St. Stephen, Randy Darling and his wife Jill of Saint John, Josh McFarlane and his wife Val of Fort Saskatchewan, Angela Clop and Bryson Higney of Red Deer, Sean Darling of Saint John and Shayne Darling of Gagetown; eight great grandchildren: Hunter, Jack, Austin, Elliott, Lucy, Cooper, Sawyer and Jesse; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mary Evelyn Darling of Sussex passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on November 22, 2014 at the age of 88. She is predeceased by her son, Wayne, her daughter, Joy Biggley and by three brothers: Herbert, Harold and Clarence Friars. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 1-3 and 6-8pm. There will be a service celebrating Evelyn's life held from Wallace Community Chapel on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 11:00am.; followed by a private family internment in Kirk Hill Cemetery.
