Adam was born in Saint John on May 3, 1993, he is survived by his mother Pam Huestis and her fiancé Steve Maciesza of The Pas, Manitoba, his father Derek Kirk and his fiancée Amy Blount of Saint John, two sisters: Amanda Kirk of Sussex and Bayley Kirk of Halifax; his step sister Cheylynn Blount of Saint John and two step brothers: Shane Blount and Cole DeSylva both of Saint John; his maternal grandmother Louise Cook and her husband Ken of Fredericton, his maternal grandfather Maynard Huestis and his wife Lorraine of Fredericton, his maternal great grandmothers: Bernice Huestis of Fredericton and Alice Kennedy of Maquapit Lake; his aunts: Cindy Kirk and Stephen McFarlane of Hammondvale, Shelly and Davey O'Donnell of Moosehorn Creek, Sherry and Marc Roy of Quispamsis; his uncles Robbie and Kim Kirk, Michael and Amie Cook, Matthew Cook and Patrick Cook all of Fredericton, Philip and Michele Huestis of Alberta, Mark Sherwood and Patti-Joe Liddle of Jefferies Corner; his cousins: Colton, Natasha, Heather, Ashley, Madison,Nicole, Chloe, Brandon, Alex, Kailyn and Ava; his great Aunts: Iris and Ron McCoy, Brenda and Danny Colwell, Joan Kennedy and Scott Stacey, Brenda and Gordie Murphy, Pat and Ashton Plester, Loretta Parlee, Donna and Mike Kyte, Janet Fowler, Gail and Doug McLaughlin, Wanda and Danny O'Donnell, Bonnie and Garnet Salter, Marjorie and Milo Blizzard, Gabby Kirk; his great uncles: Gary Kennedy and Kari Brooks, David and Sandra Kennedy, Larry and Tori Kennedy, Ivan Huestis, Robert and Deanna Mason,Tom and Phyllis Mason, Cecil and Sharon Mason, Lawrence and Wanetta Mason, Floyd and Evelyn Mason, Russell and Marie Mason, Oscar and Donna Mason, Roger Mason, Peter and Pam Mason, Randy and Kathy Mason and Stanley Mason and Anna Jennings, Ronnie Kirk and Jane Bedwell, and Artie Kirk; as well as several cousins and friends. Adam Joseph Kirk of Sussex passed away on December 26, 2014 at the age of 21, he is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Laverne (Mason) and Wayne Kirk, his great grandparents: Charlie Kennedy and Arthur and Grace (Colpitts) Kirk, Don and Anna Mason; his great aunts: Barbara Allen, Luella Saulnier and Mona Kyle, his great uncles: Anthony Mason, Bob Fowler, David Parlee and Doug Kirk; his cousins: Miranda O'Donnell, Wade Fowler and Andy Mason; The family will receive relatives and friends at Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) on Tuesday from1-4 and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held celebrated from St. Francis Xavier RC Church on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 10:00 am followed by an opportunity to speak with the family in Church Hall.
