Marlene was born in Mercer Settlement on May 14, 1948, she was the daughter of Jean McLean (Sprott) Armstrong of Apohaqui and the late Elmer Armstrong. Marlene will remain in the hearts of her mother; Gil her beloved husband of almost 50 years; her daughter Tammy and Peter McKinney of Berwick, and her son Kevin Morrell of Sussex; her special daughter in law Lana Morrell of Belleisle; her brother, David and Judy Armstrong of Mount Middleton; her sisters: Donna and Bob Long of Berwick and Heather Mitton and Lloyd Jones of Sussex; her brother in law Gordie Peterson as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Marlene Morrell of Sussex, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 11, 2015 at the age of 66. She is predeceased by her father Elmer Armstrong and her sisters Reta Peterson and Sharon Armstrong. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14th from 1-3 and 6-8pm. A service celebrating Marlene's life will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Thursday, January 15th, 2015 at 11:00am.
