Kenneth Arnold Branscombe It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Kenneth A. Branscombe of Sussex and formerly of Minto which occurred at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on February 11, 2015. Born in Minto, Ken was the son of the late Nathaniel and Rebecca (Higgins) Branscombe. Ken is survived by his wife Ruth Best-Branscombe; his daughter Sandra and her husband Gary Hallett of Douglas; his grandchildren: Marcus Hallett of Douglas and Sara Hallett of Halifax; his step-daughters: Susan Davis (Carl) and Lori Best-Godin (Donald) all of Sussex as well as his nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ken was predeceased by his first wife Sara Branscombe, his sister Helen Calabrese and his brother Harry A. Branscombe. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 6-8pm. A service celebrating Ken's life will be held from St Paul's United Church on Saturday, February14, 2015 at 2:00pm with an opportunity to speak with the family following the service.
