Obituary of Clifford Lemon

Clifford was born in Upper Gaspereau on February 28, 1928; he was the son of the late Grover and Violet (Bishop) Lemon. Clifford worked as a millwright for 23 years at Lantic Sugar and then 20 years at Rothesay Paper in Saint John. He was a former member of Edith Avenue Baptist Church and Sussex United Baptist Church. He was a member of the Kiwanis Golden K, a former member of the Sussex Seniors Group, and volunteered with Kings County Tourism. Clifford will live on in the hearts of his wife Marina Seymour Lemon; his sons: Brian and his wife Frances of Oshawa, ON, Kevin and his wife Elaine of Florida and Jeff and his wife Debbie of Charlottetown, PEI; five step-daughters: Sandra, Carol Ann, Kathy, Angela, and Shelly; a brother, Howard and his wife Mary of Upper Gaspereau; grandchildren: Heather, Blair, Paul, Christine, Dale, Meghan, Matthew and Mallory; and 9 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. Clifford Grover Lemon of Sussex, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on February 14, 2015 at the age of 86. He is predeceased by his first wife, Geraldine MacKellar Lemon; his brother Lorenzo Lemon; and his sisters: Fanny Briggs; Zella Lemon; Dewilda McNicol; and Olive Bishop. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176) where visitation will be held on Monday, February 16 from 6-8pm. A service celebrating Clifford's life will be held from Sussex Baptist Church on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 11:00am.
